What We Mean by a COBA Project

This page is designed to present verified and approved work. A project appears publicly only after its status, scope, COBA role, partners and communication permissions have been reviewed. COBA does not publish unverified claims, confidential opportunities or third-party logos without authorization.

A COBA project or initiative is a defined program with:

  • a clear Canada–Oman or relevant regional connection
  • an identified economic, institutional or knowledge objective
  • a documented scope and responsible parties
  • an approved role for COBA
  • a lawful and ethical operating pathway
  • measurable milestones or intended outcomes
  • appropriate risk, privacy and communications controls

A project may be led by COBA, co-developed with a partner, facilitated for members or supported through a commission or taskforce. The exact role must be stated accurately on the project page.
